Bill co-hosted a weekly automotive show called Pod Rods that ran on Jacksonville.com, iTunes, Zune, inside the Pod Rods smartphone app and inside the Augusta Chronicle smartphone app.

Pod Rods got its name because it was launched as a podcast (Pod) about hot rods (Rods).  It later also became an Internet and newspaper column as well as a smartphone application.  Pod Rods was started in 2006 and retired in 2011 when Bill changed jobs.
